Biography
Iowa native Linsay Deming is a DC based singer songwriter. She sings in the 20's and 30s style big band, Doc Scantlin and his Imperial Palms' Orchestra and performs as a solo artist throughout the area. From 2010 through 2012 she fronted the "popular rock group" SweetBread Jim's. She has performed at many venues including The Rainbow Room and the Waldorf Astoria in NYC and all the cool rock clubs like Black Cat and Rock and Roll Hotel here in DC. She has a continuous residency at Nanny O'Briens Irish Pub in Cleveland Park and likes to throw wacky parties like "Church Night," hosted at Wonderland Ballroom the second Wednesday of every month. Her band, SweetBread Jim's was known for their zany promotional tactics- have you seen the stickers or the station wagon? You can check out some of their funny videos and original music at www.sweetbreadjims.com. Though defunct, they still plan to release their first album Spring 2013.
